Hello!
We are a high school FIRST Robotics team 3940, CyberTooth. AutiBot is one of our offseason community outreach projects. AutiBot will be a high five-giving, interactive robot that will interface with children with disabilities, specifically children who have Autism. We will bring AutiBot to life soon and begin to make a difference in four easy steps.
- Raise money for AutiBot using this IndiGoGo project. This money will cover the cost of parts and materials, and if there are any additional funds, they will go towards furthering AutiBot's message and CyberTooth's FIRST Robotics competition travel costs (this upcoming season we are planning on traveling to Chicago, Milwaukee and possibly St. Louis)
- Build AutiBot with those parts and materials. AutiBot will be fun to look at, friendly and easy to interact with and use.
- Go out into our homeotwn of Kokomo, IN, and the surrounding communities and interact with children who have Autism to raise awareness and pique their interest in science and technology.
- Use AutiBot for many demonstrations and lend it out to other schools and rehabilitation centers so AutiBot can reach and help more people.
AutiBot's Impact
AutiBot's purpose is to make a positive difference in children with Autism's lives, but it will affect many other people, including the high school students and mentors on CyberTooth. The students and mentors will not only learn about the mechanical, electrical and software aspects of AutiBot, but will also learn about autism and will personally experience why doing things for the good of others is worthwhile.

We are very excited to start building AutiBot and spreading its message, and with your help, we will soon be making a difference.
