Support for a family forever changed

***EVEN THOUGH GOAL WAS MET KIRSTEN WILL CONTINUE TO GET ANYTHING RAISED SO PLEASE KEEP SHARRING**

On November 13th a family was forever changed. My friends husband lost his battle with cancer, leaving behind 2 beautiful girls and his wife. This family was just full of so much love, it would just leave people in awe. Kirsten and Roger had the love that you always hope to get in life, and the love for their girls was just as huge.I am hoping to help them with some of their financial burdens they are facing in the wake of his loss.

HERE IS A QUOTE FROM ROGER AT THE BEGINNING OF HIS JOURNAL HE KEPT DURING HIS BATTLE...

"I have met my oncology team and am very comfortable and confident in their ability to make me well. I received the excellent news that a PET Scan I had revealed that there are no other cancer cells other than in the effected area, this is good news. I began my treatment on Friday May 11th.  I will be receiving a "full-dose" chemo treatment on a 3 week cycle.  Then will move to a lower dose of weekly chemo with 5 days of radiation each week.  This will continue until all the cancer cells are gone.  After 4 weeks to rebuild my strength, I will have some aggressive surgery.  While no outcome is guaranteed, I plan on beating this thing.  I have 3 very good reasons, Kirsten, Phoebe and Molly.

I am as angry as I am sad as I am scared as I am determined to beat this.  Everyone tells me my positive attitude is my strongest asset.

I ask for your prayers and thoughts to help us all with this journey.  I find that writing helps me cope with this challenge so that is why I am telling you my story in this manner.

I know how blessed I am in spite of this horrible diagnosis.  I hope you all know how blessed you are as well.

Anything at all you can give will go to the family to help them with the financial burden that this diagnosis and untlimate loss left them with.
